GolfDrop takes the golf ball drop experience that most know as golf balls being dropped from a helicopter and makes it course friendly by using reduced weight golf balls and a customized drone to bring the full experience with none of the damage to the course caused by the traditional drop. The most common way courses have been using GolfDrop is by having us arrive in the morning and set up a table next to the tournament check in. We sell golf balls just as a tournament would sell mulligans. The sale of the golf balls are the donations and fundraising money that will be given back to the charity. Each golf ball will have a number that corresponds with a ticket of the same number. For example golf ball #5 will have a ticket #5. The ticket will be given to the player to hold onto and the numbered golf ball will go into the drone for the ball drop. Performing the actual drone golf ball drop can either happen before sending the teams to their designated holes, or setting a time in the afternoon for the drop to occur. The drop itself only takes 4-5 minutes with clean up being 10 minutes or less. The best location for the drop is the putting green or a close green where the player can watch the drop happen. The golf ball that falls into the selected hole will be the winning golf ball.
